Forced to attend the Surmata run Suoja Guild, Evie finally has hope for a better life. But her new freedom comes at a cost. Dark forces work against her, even within the safe walls of the demon hunter’s school. With her father still on the loose, Evie must be extra diligent to watch her back.

When her friend Maximillian introduces her to his housemates, she can’t fight the sense of déjà vu she feels whenever she’s near them. Humans and Suramata can’t be together, so why does it feel so right to be with them?

Foreseen Suoja Guild Book 2 edition by AJ Anders Paranormal Romance eBooks

Let's skip the introductions and skip right to my gripes. Our main character, Evie, leans dangerously to the TSTL category. Very irritating. She doesn't hand out pertinent information that will no doubt come back to bite her. She dismisses threats too readily and thus gets whooped. I mean seriously the amount of abuse this chick goes through is ridiculous. Oh. I have a psychotic father and a creepy abusive stalker who thinks I belong to him? Well, let us obviously dismiss the weird noises in the closet. Let's go hang out in a secluded spot where I can be easily cornered. Nearly kidnapped? Well, no reason to tell the people sworn to protect you. Let's walk by an ally not even 5 minutes later and get ambushed YET AGAIN. SMH.

Also, I can't get over how oblivious her so-called protecter are. They are supposed to have superior senses too so some of the stuff that happens seems very convenient. She's abused by a creepy stalker and said creepy stalker gets away with it because they seem to be on one hand oblivious to the fact he beats the crap out of her and on the other disgusted by his behavior and how familiar he seems to be with her.

All this aside despite my frustrations with this novel...including the fact that it ends rather abruptly...I actually liked it. The author could and should do better but I think with time she will. I'll continue reading this series because despite the inconsistencies it is rather captivating. I like the world. I like the promise this story has and am hopeful that the author will stop with the silent martyr type characteristics and bring out who Evie really could be.

Foreseen Suoja Guild Book 2 edition by AJ Anders Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews

All I can say is that I was useless to the real world as I read AJ Anders second Suoja Guild series book Forseen. My head and heart were with Evie and her six sexy Kaveri, as they were fighting to keep their world together, from the evil supernaturals and infected humans.
Forseen starts were Precursor ends. Max has to tell Evie's unknown Kaveri that when he took her memories of her attack from the demon, he took away to much. "She's (Evie) like a blank slate when it comes to us (Evie's best friend Max and her six bond mates Kaveri)."
Dashiel goes to his leaders for help, thinking that Evie will be back to normal by tomorrow, when he is told there is nothing to be done and they need to stay away from her. When her father's camp is attacked, a year later, Evie is protected by Max and sent to the Suoja Guild, to be educated about the Surmata and other paranormals. As Evie fight's through the unknown reason of desire she feels from her six Kaveri, the physical assaults from humans and demons, she has to face the truth about her new powers.
I cannot wait for the third book to be released. My imagination is going wild!
I really like Evie and this whole world that has been created BUT I feel like this book was anticlimactic. The book started off great but when it ended, I was left confused and unsatisfied because nothing really happened yet. There was no clear conclusion or cliff hanger, it seemed to just stop. I would have preferred to wait longer and the have book 2 and 3 be put together. That being said I really do love the guys and the story line this far. Dash, Cyn, and Jax are my favorites thus far. I can't wait till will get to learn more about the guys. I will be anxiously awaiting book 3.
I have been waiting for Foreseen ever since I've read the prequel in the Falling For Them anthology back in January and considering Precursor ended on a cliffhanger, I was more than excited for this book.

I have to say that the beginning was kind of confusing but eventually everything fell back into place. The characters that I missed so much made me realize just how short the prequel was, because we only got some glimpses of the guys, and now we really saw them for who they were, although some questions were still left unanswered.

My main problem with the book was that, since Evie lost her memories of the guys and everything she learned from them in the previous book, in this one, she once again asked the same questions and that's understandable, BUT everything was literally explained, word by word, copied from the previous book (I checked). I might be overreacting but the fact that the author didn't even bother to change some sentences, just copied them, really didn't sit well with me, while reading the book (still doesn't) and that's one of the main reasons, why I didn't give it a higher rating.

Overall, the book was really good, despite what I said earlier, and I enjoyed it immensely. I would have read it in one sitting, if I wouldn't have had school the following day. I can't wait for Evie to end up with all of the guys, and hope that the next book in the series comes out soon!
I love these books! Aj Anders is doing a great job developing her world into her own creation. The characters are well thought out and developed and they each have their own personalities that mesh well together. Its clear she put in the effort to make each character unique and part of the whole instead of allowing the personalities to overlap each other. I also loved how Evie is able to be strong and independent without being isolating and to hand off, she is quite and reserved sometimes yes, but she knows her mind and when she relaxes is fun and flirty too. I did somewhat dislike that she skipped over a whole year of their lives at the beginning, but the rest of the book made up for it and there didn't seem to be much that went on that wast covered. Again, I very much enjoyed this book and can't wait to see more of Evie's life with her guys. Cant wait to see how the relationships develop from here now that something important was discovered about one of the six. Last but not least... THANK YOU for not ending on one of those cliffhangers that leaves all readers angry. Partially resolved/hopeful endings with some things left unresolved but nothing horrible going on is so much better!! LOVE LOVE LOVE and hope to see more soon!
